This piece is made with ebony black clay adorned with multicolored marbling, textures, and special in-glaze metallic lusters made by Christine. This vessel has gone through multiple firings including a special reduction firing. Metallic lusters have opalescent shine in the sunlight that is difficult to capture fully through photos. The inside is lined with clear glaze and is food safe.
This is a first edition sample and is the first of its kind. It is made for an owner who can appreciate the difficulty of the special techniques used to achieve it.
